"Give me your tired"

I'm grateful for this honor. My Grandmother was an immigrant who had the courage to come to a new land with her six children. They landed at Ellis Island 1930, right smack in the middle of the depression. My Mother's stories of their struggles and dreams have always inspired me. This painting was dedicated to them and other women who dared to reach for a brighter future in America.
